The public deserves to see the inner workings of the military public affairs process with regards to dealing with the non stop 24/7 onslaught of the international print and electronic media that have brought the Global War on Terrorism into our homes on a nightly basis. Valley lived it, through heroism and cowardice; life and death and the daily struggles that war brings to every man and woman that serves in today's military.
The main goal of this book is to emphasize that America's military is made up of Americans from all walks of life and that we need to stay in Iraq until the job is done. The author's views are not based on politics, but rather his strong feelings that America cannot honor their fallen warriors by leaving before the job is done.
