Steve Valley is a 25-year Army veteran that was born and raised in Massachusetts and now resides in Florida. Valley earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Communications from North Adams State College and a Master's of Science Degree in Administrative Studies from Boston College.

He holds several military occupational specialties including 11B infantry, 13E field artillery and 46Z public affairs.

His former unit returned from a year-long deployment to Iraq in February 2005, where he served as the unit's first sergeant, the senior enlisted Soldier at the Combined Press Information Center (CPIC) and as a media spokesperson for Multi-National Forces-Iraq.

He currently serves as a Sergeant Major in the US Army Reserve. He's also an All-American VFW Post Commander and a sustaining member in the AUSA, the USO and the Wounded Warrior Project.
